The Hanging Lamp and Table Sculputre, pen and ink on paper,

I am doing this design for the one new hotel project in Malaysia. From hundred, a few of them were accepted for finalised. One great thing is they were given me to do the design for real, I think it is about 4 or 5 design in real form. This Hanging Lamp were made from cloth hanger wire and the design is just for the basic ideas, the real form maybe slightly different from the sketch. The real form which I called it as ” free form design ”. It give me more freely to manupilate the softness of the hanger wire. After finish it, I will use either handmade paper exclusivly made by najanaja from paperis to this project or canvas glued with wood glue to finish one pieces of The Hanging Lamp.

For the table sculputre it is diffrent from The Hanging Lamp method because you need to give a tough structure.  I still used najanaja from paperis to give advice for this project. He use papier mache then stretghten with wire inside. After the papeir mache is dry then I used a good quality acrylic, normaly I used silver, gold, bronze and a few metalic color to give the impact to the sculputre.
